An Introduction

Asians--in general--love food, perhaps, more than any other race in the world. But they do not just go for not any kind of food, they prefer their own cuisines which they are so proud of.

Many Indians and Thais, for example, when going overseas, especially out of Asia, bring their condiments and spices so as not to deprive themselves of the food they are so used to and love wherever they are.

The Japanese, Chinese, Indians, Koreans, and Thais, among others, have already made their marks in the culinary world.  Even non-Asians have grown to love their food because they taste good and unique.  Great Britain for example, has grown fond of the Indian curry which they have adapted to their cuisine. Each Asian cuisine has its own characteristics, especially when compared to Western food, but they all are made special by the spices that are in abundance in the region.

Asian cuisines are so rich-- in taste, in materials they are made of, and in history and culture. Thus, it is imperative for everyone who love either to eat or cook to learn more about them and have greater appreciation of the kinds of food the Asians love.

So, dear readers, if you are interested to learn more about Asian food and how they are made, read on!
